AgWest Farm Credit awards scholarships to 132 students

Spokane, WA | June 24, 2025

AgWest Farm Credit, a leading financial institution serving the agricultural industry, is proud to announce the recipients of its annual scholarship program. This year, 132 students across AgWest's seven-state service territory have been awarded a total of $330,000 in scholarships.

“AgWest is honored to provide scholarships for these impressive students, and we are confident this investment in the future will pay strong dividends for the agriculture industry and rural communities we serve,” said President and CEO Bill Perry.

Each student qualified for one of the following scholarship offerings and will receive a $2,500 award to support their educational pursuits.

Championing Agriculture Scholarship

This scholarship encourages future leaders in agriculture and is awarded to current college students enrolled in a university or other post-secondary institution or vocational program within AgWest Farm Credit’s service territory. Recipients intend to obtain a degree or certificate and pursue a career path related to the agriculture sector.

Customer Scholarship

This scholarship is dedicated to enhancing educational pursuits across various fields. Qualified customers and dependents of customers are eligible for these scholarships. Recipients are graduating high school seniors and college students attending any post-secondary institution or vocational program.

Employee Scholarship

This scholarship reflects AgWest's commitment to supporting employees’ families by investing in their education. Awarded to sons or daughters of AgWest employees, recipients are graduating high school seniors and college students attending any post-secondary institution or vocational program.
